How to Use
Daily boost: add 1 scoop (20g) to the empty drum before loading — not the drawer, and never onto the fabric. Add your detergent as normal. Use 2 scoops (40g) for large or heavily soiled loads.
Wash at 30–40°C, where the enzymes work best. They stay active from cold through 40°C; brightening from the oxygen bleach steps up at 50°C, and above 60°C use on whites only.
Odour Reset (deep-set permastink): dissolve 1 scoop in a basin of warm water with detergent, soak the garment 1–3 hours, then wash as normal. Repeat over 2–4 washes if needed.
Not suitable for silk, wool, cashmere, leather or dry-clean-only fabrics. Use on colourfast fabrics; test a hidden area first.

Why “clean” clothes still smell
You wash it, it looks clean — then an hour into wearing it, the smell is back. That’s biofilm: a bacterial layer bonded deep in the fabric that ordinary detergent can’t reach. Is this a detergent replacement?
No — it’s a booster. Add it to the drum alongside your normal detergent when a load needs more than a routine clean. No need to switch detergents or change anything in your routine.
What makes DNase different from regular enzymes?
Most enzymes break down the mess bacteria feed on. DNase does something different: it breaks apart the hidden, glue-like web bacteria build to anchor themselves deep in the fabric — the structure that lets them survive every wash. Once that web is broken, the bacteria are exposed and rinse away. It’s why recurring odour stops coming back — and why no other UK laundry booster includes it.
Does it work in a cold wash?
Yes — the enzymes work from cold water through to 40°C, and 30–40°C gives the best results. Brightening from the oxygen bleach increases above 50°C, but above 60°C enzyme effectiveness drops, so keep hot washes for whites.
How quickly does it work?
Most people notice a difference on the first wash. For deeply embedded permastink in synthetics, 2–4 washes typically breaks the cycle. The Odour Reset soak speeds this up for the worst cases.
Why does adding more detergent make the smell worse?
Excess detergent doesn’t rinse out cleanly — the residue left in the fabric becomes food for the very bacteria causing the smell. Less detergent with a booster consistently outperforms more detergent alone.
What fabrics should I avoid using it on?
Not suitable for silk, wool, cashmere, leather or dry-clean-only fabrics. Use on colourfast fabrics and test a hidden area before first use. Compatible with all washing machines including HE front loaders.
How long does a bag last?
Each 500g bag is around 25 washes using one 20g scoop. For large loads (6–8kg) using 2 scoops, roughly 12–13 uses. A 20g scoop is included.
Is it safe for sensitive skin and septic tanks?
It’s fragrance-free, with no optical brighteners and no chlorine bleach. The enzymes are biodegradable and the oxygen bleach breaks down to water and oxygen, so it’s septic-tank compatible and rinses clean.
